The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is a movement advocating for the rights and dignity of domestic workers (nannies, house cleaners, home care aides), many of whom are women of color and immigrants, fighting for labor protections and respect.
Volunteers support NDWA by helping domestic worker leaders organize meetings and events, campaigning for laws like a Domestic Workers’ Bill of Rights in their states, raising awareness in their communities about the value of care work, and fundraising for emergency assistance funds for domestic workers.
