Please contact All of US through our Contact US page to report any inaccuracies.
7. How are decisions made, such as which organizations to include in the Directory or changes to the website?
All decisions are made collectively by the All of US conveners. Organizations must meet the following criteria to be included in the Directory:
- Your organization is active in the U.S.
- Your organization is able to welcome and orient desired new members and/or volunteers.
- Your organization values the rights of all people, and your work is grounded in social justice.
- Your organization is non-Commercial, i.e., it does not prioritize profit-making over its core values.
- Your organization avoids divisiveness and ideological purity tests.
- Your organization values mutual support and collective action.
8. What is the blue check mark I see on some of the entries?
Some organizations listed here actively added themselves to the directory and are managing their own profile. They are marked with a blue check. They are eager to reply to requests from people who are willing and able to join them. Some organizations did not add themselves and are not managing their own profile, but they have publicly expressed interest in adding volunteers and/or members. They are marked with a grey circular symbol. They may also be eager to hear from you, but they haven't verified that.
9. How is All of US financed?
Currently, All of US operates entirely on a volunteer basis. The conveners serve as staff without compensation. All resources are focused on maintaining and growing the platform.
If the growth of the Directory requires paid staff in the future, we will seek to raise funds specifically for that purpose. However, every effort is being made to keep the workload manageable within a volunteer-driven model.
