All of US: A Directory To Connect, Care, & Build

What Is Our Goal?

All of US is designed to help you get involved in progressive, people-powered efforts throughout the U.S. confronting the current attacks on our democracy, people's rights, and needed services. The directory connects you to groups who need your help and voice. We believe that together we can address and reverse the injustices and the drive toward authoritarianism occurring every day. This directory is a tool that connects you with groups working on diverse issues as part of a larger social change movement aimed at building a better future for everyone.

What Do We Do?

We provide a directory designed to help people and organizations find each other. Organizations describe their work and what needs they have for volunteers and new members. Individuals then search the directory to find an organization that they want to connect with, filtering for:

  •    location,
  •    focus area, and
  •    type of work.

Who Decides What's Listed?

Organizations fill out an application and a member of the All of US conveners considers each case. Our conditions are that:

  • Your organization is active in the U.S.
  • Your organization is able to welcome and orient desired new members and/or volunteers.
  • Your organization takes a progressive, liberatory approach to the issues it focuses on.
  • Your organization is non-Commercial, i.e., does it not prioritize profit-making over its core values.
  • Your organization avoids divisive sectarianism and ideological purity tests.
  • Your organization values mutual support and collective action.

What Organizations Are Included in the Directory?

A wide range of groups are included in this directory. Broadly speaking, they are grassroots-friendly, progressive-leaning, non-commercial, and non-sectarian; they seek and give solidarity; they welcome and value participation. Some organizations in this directory have actively agreed to join the directory and are managing their own profile. They are marked with a blue check. They are eager to reply to requests from people who are willing and able to join them. Other organizations did not join the directory but have publicly expressed interest in adding volunteers and/or members. They are marked with a grey circular symbol and do not manage their own profile on this site.

Who Uses the Directory?

Anyone who wants to connect with others to address concerns about what is happening in the U.S. – whether in response to Trump or MAGA or in response to the general need to improve life in our communities, stop harmful policies, win positive gains, and build with others towards a better world.
