FCCPR is a grassroots multi-issue community-based organization that grew out of the 2016 Bernie Sanders presidential campaign. It focuses on issues similar to the ones Bernie fought and still fights for. The group holds regular general assemblies, is led by a 7-person coordinating committee, has a mailing list of 1,000, and does much of its work through issue-based task forces such as Education, Immigration, Reproductive Justice, Climate Crisis and Peace. We engage in electoral and legislative work, but equally important, hold public demonstrations. We are also a chapter of Indivisible and Our Revolution Massachusetts.
