Third Act is a national organization of folks 60 and over, working to protect our fragile climate, and to restore and advance our fragile democracy. Third ACT NYC is the local Working Group of the national organization. We work in coalition with other groups in the climate and democracy spaces.
In this critical moment, Target Majority NYC has built on our history of electoral and legislative fights and wins, to ground our work now in what it takes to beat back fascism. Fueled by the elections experts at Swing Left, and the anti-authoritarian experts of Indivisible and “We Are Worth Fighting For,” we are building our people power and pursuing the strategies that have successfully resisted and defeated dictatorships around the world.
Climate Action Rhode RI (CARI) is a grassroots organization and a chapter of 350.org dedicated to the just transition to renewable energy and a livable planet for future generations.
Our mission is to build a diverse grassroots movement to address the causes of climate disruption through justice-based solutions by inspiring, training and mobilizing people to act. We solve these problems by centering the needs of frontline communities in our campaigns and programs, while being co-conspirators in the fight for social and racial justice.
350 Eugene is a grassroots, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, started in 2013, that works toward climate justice by organizing people to make deep system change: transitioning off fossil fuels; advocating for needed strong climate policies; and fostering resilient, just, and welcoming communities with creative, artful & joy-filled outreach, education and events. We do this through a diversity of tactics including policy advocacy, public education and non-violent direct action.
We are part of a national network of groups and individuals organizing white people and other people with privilege for racial justice, and to dismantle white supremacy. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ Santa Clara County moves white people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice with passion and accountability.
SURJ mobilizes white people for justice across the country. Through campaigns, education, and action opportunities, we move our people to reject racism and complicity– and to join movements for change.
We are a 700-strong group of activist volunteers from across Massachusetts who are working together to restore and protect democracy and stabilize the climate.
