Upstate South Carolina DSA is the local chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America helping our communities in the Greenville, Spartanburg, and wider upstate area - a better world is possible.
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is a democratic socialist organization that advocates for workers’ rights, racial and economic justice, and democratic control of resources.
Volunteer Needs
Our current projects range from mutual aid to feed and support our communities, workplace organizing and strike support, and the ICE Out! campaign. We also have many opportunities to contribute to building and growing our chapter, including: political education, outreach and communications, admin and membership support, action planning and logistics, etc.
As a democratic socialist organization, our members contribute to deliberation and decision making at all levels of our organizing.
We welcome newcomers to reach out and attend a meeting or event to see what we're about!
