The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people, providing 24/7 counseling via phone, text, and chat, and advocating for policies that protect LGBTQ youth.
Trained volunteers serve as crisis counselors on Trevor’s phone, chat, and text lines to support LGBTQ youth in crisis. Other volunteers assist with outreach by promoting the Trevor Project’s life-saving services at community events and online, and advocating for LGBTQ-inclusive policies in schools.
