Spontaneous Celebrations
Spontaneous Celebrations, Inc., is a community cultural art center and makerspace (in progress) in Jamaica Plain, MA
We are the home to many smaller art based organizations, and have our roots in climate justice and community activism.
We strive to be a center of art and activism.
We have an ongoing need for volunteer support and are largely run and sustained by volunteers.
from creating programming, to fundraising, to working towards a community maker space, our volunteers are heavily involved and contributing towards everything we are and everything we are visioning. We have only a small parttime staff currently only doing administrative tasks necessary to continue existing.
We also have two large community festivals we organize and host each year and there are dozens of ways to get involved with them!
