School of the Americas Watch (SOA Watch) is a nonviolent advocacy group seeking the closure of the U.S. Army’s School of the Americas (renamed WHINSEC) and an end to U.S. militarization in Latin America, while standing in solidarity with Latin American social justice movements.

Volunteers attend the annual convergence at Fort Benning, Georgia, to protest the SOA/WHINSEC with vigils and civil disobedience, lobby Congress to cut funding to the school and foreign military aid, organize local awareness events on U.S. militarism, and support campaigns for justice for victims of SOA-trained forces.
