About / Mission
Boston DSA is the local chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America in the Greater Boston area. We work on a wide variety of campaigns and actions that fit our values, depending on the circumstances. We have permanent working groups that organize around labor, housing, and electoral campaigns. When working class people are under attack we shift to support them whether it's Palestinians, immigrants, students, or an attempt to invest in criminalizing our communities.
Volunteer Needs
Boston DSA's most active working groups are Labor, Electoral, and Housing. We support workers who are organizing: forming a union, going on strike, etc. We get socialists elected into local office in the Greater Boston area. We support hyperlocal communities of activists and organizers to improve the wellness and happiness of our neighbors. Our current working groups include: Eco-Socialism, Electoral, Healthcare, Housing, Internationalism & Immigration, Labor, Political Education, and Palestine.
