About / Mission
Faith in Action is the largest faith-based organizing network in the U.S., training congregation members across religions to work for racial and economic justice, including immigration reform, ending mass incarceration, and expanding healthcare.
Volunteer Needs
Volunteers from churches, synagogues, and mosques in the network engage in community organizing training, conduct listening campaigns in their congregations to identify issues, meet with public officials to demand just policies (like reduced incarceration or DACA protections), and turn out people of faith for prayer vigils and rallies on social justice issues.
