About / Mission

The Catholic Worker Movement is a collection of autonomous communities of Catholics and like-minded individuals practicing radical hospitality and nonviolence, running houses of hospitality for the poor and protesting war and social injustice.

Volunteer Needs

Volunteers live and work in Catholic Worker houses or farms to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and accompany the sick; they also join in nonviolent resistance against war, nuclear weapons, and unjust economic structures, often participating in civil disobedience and peace vigils rooted in faith.
